Balrog
The most common version of Balrog players encounter today is Easy Balrog. This iteration is designed for accessibility and serves as an early-game boss for players generally around Level 65 and above.
Time-Locked Damage
A unique mechanic of Easy Balrog is that you cannot deal damage to him for the first few minutes of the fight (usually until the timer reaches 17 minutes remaining on the in-game clock). Players must simply wait out this period before their attacks will register. This was implemented to prevent players from instantly defeating him with high-level characters.
Damage Reflect
Balrog typically begins to use his Damage Reflect when his HP is critically low, specifically around one-quarter (1/4) of his total health remaining. This makes the final stretch of the fight particularly intense and dangerous, as players must shift their focus from pure damage output to careful monitoring of the boss.
The crucial indicator that Balrog has activated Damage Reflect is a distinct purple rune (or symbol) that appears directly above his head. This glowing purple mark serves as a visual warning, signaling that any damage dealt to him will be reflected back to the attacker. If you hit Balrog while this rune is visible, you’ll take significant damage yourself, often resulting in an instant defeat.
After defeating Balrog
After defeating Balrog, you need to attack the large jewel in the center of the map. (Do not use skills; use your basic attack.) Hitting this jewel will enter you into a raffle. Check your luck in the Raffle Results the following day.
