Nett’s Pyramid

For veteran MapleStory players, the name “Nett’s Pyramid” probably brings back a flood of memories. This iconic party quest (PQ) has been a staple of the game for a long time, offering a blend of combat, strategy, and teamwork. If you’re looking for a fun and rewarding group activity in MapleStory, Nett’s Pyramid is definitely worth checking out!

What is Nett's Pyramid?

Nett’s Pyramid is a cooperative party quest designed for a group of 4 players who work together to defeat waves of monsters and a final boss. The PQ is accessible through the Dimensional Mirror found in any town.

How Does it Work?

The core gameplay of Nett’s Pyramid revolves around defending a Pharaoh’s Treasure from incoming waves of mummies and other ancient Egyptian-themed monsters. Here’s a general breakdown of the stages:

Preparation Room

Before entering the main pyramid, your party will gather in a preparation room. This is where you can strategize, buff up, and make sure everyone’s ready. Crucially, the 4 party members must decide who will cover each of the pyramid’s 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors.

Wave Defense

Once inside the pyramid, you’ll face a total of 20 waves of monsters. Your primary objective is to prevent them from reaching and destroying the Pharaoh’s Treasure at the center of the map. Each wave introduces stronger and more numerous enemies.

Boss Fight

The final stage is a showdown with the boss of Nett’s Pyramid. This typically requires coordinated attacks and careful dodging to defeat. During this final wave, the boss appears, and monsters will only spawn on the 1st and 3rd floors. Party members who were on the 2nd and 4th floors should move to assist on the active floors.
